Thanksgiving Gifts

I can not think of a better week to express my gratitude and glorious admiration to God for the adventure He set me into…

#126  One year here in Bolivia – How time flies

#127  That he gave me a way to enjoy good deals here – the second hand market, books/review items for my blog, winning others giveaways.

#128  The ability to read and read instead of watching too much TV

#129  People here who are becoming old friends as the time passes by

#130  Two nicely framed photos given to us that make the living room look more like me. One even has a sheep and a barn much like where we previously lived

#131  A very small change that makes a big difference in the flow of our homeschool

#132  Aleks Math program – my son is learning to enjoy math

#133  My sweet daughter and her thoughtfulness

#134  God’s amazing hand on my family

#135  Free Kindle books to read – esp. the recent ESV Bible

#136  Being able to talk to my brothers over Skype

#137  Having three amazing brothers who are a source of encouragement and support.  I have been blessed by them and their wives, not to mention all my very cute nieces and nephew.

#138  That we have air-conditioning in 2 rooms of our house

#139  That my 3 year old likes to give directions in Spanish to our taxi drivers.

If you wish to take part in the giving of thanks, join us....

#134 - I love how Ezra and Nehemiah repeatedly state that something amazing happened because of "God's good hand". It's even more amazing when we see it in our own lives, isn't it??

#138 - We're moving 1000 miles south to Dallas - I think our appreciation of air conditioning is going to increase. :)

It is amazing how much we have to be thankful for. I never realized how easily the blessings would flow once I developed the discipline of giving thanks. Amy, have a wonderful thanksgiving!!!
